BINTANG Hollywood, Scarlett Johansson, menafikan beliau mahu calon pilihan raya presiden Amerika Syarikat, Barack Obama, menang ekoran ketampanan wajahnya.
Dalam satu wawancara awal sebelum ini, Scarlett, 23 tahun, dilaporkan sebagai berkata: ‘Hati saya milik Barack.’
Malah, beliau mengakui menghantar e-mel kepada Obama dan menambah: ‘Saya berasa seolah-olah saya menyokong seseorang dan dapat berdialog secara peribadi dengannya.
‘Ia sesuatu yang sungguh menakjubkan.’
Bagaimanapun sumber dalam New York Daily News turut menegaskan Scarlett bukannya terpikat dengan calon parti Demokratik itu.
‘Beliau (Scarlett) hanya seorang yang terlibat dalam kempen Obama. Mereka tidak saling menulis surat cinta. Semua orang seakan-akan lupa Scarlett sudah bertunang,’ ujar sumber itu.
Scarlett bertunang dengan pelakon Ryan Reynolds yang juga bekas kekasih penyanyi, Alanis Morissette.

LOS ANGELES : Hollywood screen beauty Scarlett Johansson is to marry Canadian boyfriend Ryan Reynolds after a year-long relationship, a spokesman for the actress confirmed on Monday.
Johansson, 23, the star of “The Nanny Diaries,” “Lost In Translation” and “Match Point,” was said to be “thrilled” at the engagement, representative Marcel Pariseau said in a email to AFP. No wedding date has yet been set.
According to People magazine, Reynolds, 31, whose films include “Blade Trinity,” and “Definitely Maybe,” popped the question recently. Appropriately, Reynolds is currently working on a film called “The Proposal,” People said.
The Vancouver-born actor was previously engaged to Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette from 2004 until their reported split in 2006.
Johansson has recently signalled her intention to branch out by pursuing a music career. Her debut album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head,” is due out on May 20.
Her next film appearance comes in Woody Allen’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” her third collaboration with the veteran New York director following 2005’s “Scoop” and “Match Point” the following year.
